Build a Husky is BACK!
After many years, this beloved event has returned, and tickets are selling super fast! Sales will close on December 9th, and payment must be made in full to reserve your Husky. No sales will be available on the day of the event, so don’t wait!
Each kit comes with an adorable unstuffed Husky or bear, stuffing, a birth certificate, a special heart, plus lemonade and cookies. Due to space, we kindly ask for only two parents per student, but siblings are absolutely welcome to join the fun!

October 3, 2025 | Rhythm path
During the October House Bonding Day, the PTA was proud to bring Mr. David Cox of Rhythm Path (and his 200 drums) to the school for a specialized workshop session with each of BHE's four House groups. Each student had their own drum to play, working together as a House to create moving rhythms before celebrating by sliding down the big inflatable outside.
Rhythm Path has held similar workshops at other KISD schools including Creech, Shafer, Wilson, and Wolfe Elementary.
